What is the OPC UA?

OPC UA (Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture) is a communication protocol that is an open international standard developed to enable secure and reliable data exchange for industrial networks.

OPC UA-supported function/model

MONITOUCH supports both OPC UA server and client, and they can be used simultaneously.
Note: For the OPC UA server function, use a supported model.

　

Information model support

Both server and client can import and use NodeSet.xml file that supports the information model.

Integrating data from non-OPC UA devices into the host system

Since MONITOUCH functions as an OPC UA gateway, simply installing it on the equipment makes it "OPC UA- compatible". This enables various data to be shared with the host system according to user needs.
